Accessing JIT (Desktop and Mobile)

Desktop

There are 2 ways to access JIT on your desktop computer using Explorer, Mozilla or Safari browsers

Go to: www.justintimemedicine.com (no CEX)
  • Advantages
    • Nice web design
    • Easy to print from (curriculum tables, content, images, etc) clicking the embedded icon
    • Interactive flash based resources work well
    • The “Diagnoses” tab is functional (a differential dx resource – a work in progress)
    • Access the CEX and EMR tutorials
    • Register and log patient encounters
  • Disadvantages
    • Cannot enter a CEX from this site
Go to: www.justintimemedicine.com/jitiphone/index.aspx on your desktop computer using the Safari browser (or the Mozilla browser):
  • Advantages
    • Simple design
    • Print using the print button
    • Functionality is exactly the same as with the mobile devices iPhone/iTouch/Droid
    • Once logged-in, you can click remember me and not have to log in again
    • You can enter a CEX from this site (remember to log in as yourself), if a desktop computer is available when you are interacting with a patient (most commonly in the clinic)
  • Disadvantages
    • Simple design
    • Cannot access tutorials
    • The “Diagnosis” tab is not functional
    • Interactive content not available (flash based)
